- Completing some Covenant Callings.
- Killing the weekly World Boss.

- Win a PvP objective such as a battleground.
- Quests from Highlord Bolvar Fordragon for Torghast that reward Soul Ash.
- Raid bosses in Castle Nathria can sometimes drop Renown.
